The Ministry of Culture announces a classic music gala concert on occasion of the 49th anniversary of the National Theater. The concert will be on Friday, 5 August 2022 at the Carlos Piantini Hall of the National Theater. Maestro Dante Cucurullo will conduct the National Symphony Orchestra. Two soloists, Di Taveras, pianist and Leslie Perez la Rosa are on the evening program.
The program:Alexander Glazunov’s Carnival Overture for orchestra and organDimitri Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with Di TaverasHenryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2 with violinist Leslie Perez la Rosa.
Tickets are for sale at the National Theater and online at Uepa tickets for RD$1,000 and RD$750.
