Some of you may remember be from my last thread: https://dr1.com/forums/threads/please-help-need-advice-urgent.401425/

Came back to the DR last month only to find out it was ALL LIES. I have been lied to and threatened for weeks by a 19 year-old pretending to be 16, and his barrio mother, who both blackmailed me after the mother discovered his "tiguere" son had been sleeping with a man (me) for money.

Fled the country in fear in April 2022, landed back in SDQ last month with the expectation that I would get arrested at the airport. The custom agent didn't even bat an eye when he checked my file in his computer. You'd think if I had really commited something illegal with a minor, my passport would be flagged by now and I would get arrested upon landing right? NOPE. They let me in like everyone else.

I then spoke to one of the (now) 20 year-old's buddy on whatsapp (found his contact on Instagram) and he told me he has NO FRIEND below 18, and that he is 24 himself. So it was all lies mesny to make me PANIC and extort money from me, and his mom was involved in the scheme.

Now I want to head to a Fiscalía office with my passport and ask them to file a complain against the 20 year old AMD his mother for scam attempt and blackmailing. I have their names and whatsapp number. I want to sue them for:
- Emotionally stress
- Blackmail
- Financial damages for making me purchase an emergency flight out of the country.
- Financial damages for basically running my vacation/cutting it short

I'm so sick of it and beyond upset. Is this common in DR? Mothers working with their young adult children to BLACKMAIL and EXTORT foreigners over false statutory rape accusations??

How old are you sir? The problem of older men coming to the DR to exploit children is a huge problem. The fact that this boy is 19 but could pass for 16 is deeply and profoundly disturbing. If your story is true, it's very odd that you would return to this country.

Perhaps you are up to the same 'recreational activities' this time around, and are looking for validation and reassurance that you can engage in these activities without any social or judicial consequences.

I don't know. It sounds depraved and completely unwholesome. Why don't you find an age-appropriate 'partner' as they say who matches your educational and socioeconomic background?

Also, you stated in your previous post that you considered the boy a 'one night stand'. Why are you travelling to the 3rd world for a one night stand with a very young person who you think is 19 but could be 16?

It sounds like a life review is in order for you sir. Are the decisions you are making in your best interest? Are they in the best interest of others? I for one hope the young man was able to obtain enough money to help his family with their (no doubt) complicated economic situation, as being a homo-sexual escort is a tough way to make a living. Poor kid.

Mr Helpneeded you deserve some justice. I'm all in favor of you going to the police and filing a report. Make sure you explain your story to them exactly as you've explained it to us. I'm looking forward to hearing a lot more about what happened in the future.

IMO common sense would be stay as far away from that situation as possible. I really do not understand the mentality of anyone going somewhere that they expected to be arrested.

I have a contrarian view from the others. I think you should sue them all, listing all of their assets in the suit. 1) rusty moto concho with no lights 2) corrugated galvanized steel one room house 3) large collection of perfumes and cologne 4) fake michael jordan shoes 5).... oh thats it. Don't forget to file all the intimate details as well. They will love to hear about your love tryst with a young man. Good luck.

So you come back and still deal with the same circle of people...
and now that the drama is behind you, you want to reconnect with that drama and bring all that drama to court.

Move on and seek new love with new people that are drama free. Stay away from the young tigeres.
Enjoy your life and move on. Your lesson was learned.

People like this ONLY learn one way. Go ahead full steam and let us know the results............
OP claims to
"have their names and whatsapp number. I want to sue them for:
- Emotionally stress
- Blackmail
- Financial damages for making me purchase an emergency flight out of the country.
- Financial damages for basically running my vacation/cutting it short"...

I think we should all be encouraging him to file a report with PN and contact the "Fiscalía" and sue these people. I really want to see this guy to move forward with these claims.
