I usually arrive at STI at night, my daughter and her husband wait for me, they bring the SUV for me then I drive to their house where we have a fellowship in family.Ok I am glad I can tell family about my travel plans
Nothing that's been posted (other than free speach allows us to see who the idiots are) regarding this incident makes much sense.Above is right. Also anyone working in the airport can make a cell call when a nice "mark" comes in. Just a bad idea to save money on middle of the night flights....................
That's the RIGHT Move in this Scenario , and the Cabanas are pretty close .The few times I've caught one of those flights I stayed in a cabaña then caught the early bus. Cheaper than a taxi back then and safer even if less convenient. Since then I fly into the closest airport and treat the added flight cost, if there is one, as the price for convenience, and now safety.
POST# 1jd426, where did it say he took the next plane home?
The driver used all the driving tricks he knew and finally eluded the pursuer and made it safely back to the airport where he spent the night. The tourist bought a ticket and went back to the US.
At that time of the night it doesn't matter which road is used to go from Santiago to Puerto Plta. You will feel like you're the only one on any road in the country. One thing needing correction is is he location. It was not the access road. The driver says that it happened more or less 5 kilometers from Saniago's airport.
He was still in the city, driving by the faster road to come by the old road that was renovated. The highway there is very lonely, there are no houses or anything.
