it did run a displacement of Center/location for the strongest winds(not that there would be any real strong winds to talk about at all).
nice shown on the actual loop

Grace is done and gone.
that name will not come back on the maps this season.
Tropical Depression 8 is quiet a interesting weird bugger,
drifting SE since this morning.

NOTHING of any danger out there
and nothing expected to pop up the next days
as far as our Paradise Isle is concerned.

that means we can already start to look forward to the almost starting sunny weeeeekend

From StormCarib http://stormcarib.com/ Posted 10 September 12:50

There are no advisories issued on Grace anymore, since it is not a tropical cyclone. The Tropical Weather Discussion states that there are 20-25kt (23-29mph) winds associated with the remnants of Grace, mostly to the northeast. So the main wind threat is gone. That doesn't mean that the rain/flooding threat is over. Right now there is still a lot of convection visible on satellite images. The system should move over the Leeward Islands tomorrow, bringing some welcome rain, hopefully not too much.
It looks like the main 'blob' will pass north of Dominica, so that's good.
Thamks Gert.

If it comes as a rain event then the DR is looking at Sunday/Monday.

of course nothing happened.
why to write about some maybe occuring wind of 20-25mphr.
we would need to write a lot during winter then, because thats the time when such happens for days in a row when a cold frontal moves in/by.
the little water concentrated/caught up in the dry swing of former Grace, rained down for a short while on its way, most came down over water, some over the northern Island Belt.
as something worth to watch, Grace was gone 1000miles East of the Easternmost Islands.

it is WEEEEKEND again.
its sunny, its calm
let's enjoy it

so thats a Storm to write home about?
did anyone of your neigbours/friends/family drown?
lol
congratulations on some water,
even that such amount in just 10 minutes of course doesn't relieve from anything,
it just wets the floor and a few hrs later all proof is gone.
we also had a short shower last night,
but i din't mention it on the Hurricane Topic,
to not scare some people living in Havannah or Key West,
as such news about those wild thunderstorms are really scaring shyt todays.
CNN and BBC call right away for evacuation of Western Alaska and the Polar Bears.

the remaining "Spin"/low pressure spot of that former Grace is now somewhere south of PR, hard to spot.
it run dry already.
it will continue it's move thru the central caribbean Sea towards the West.
it may be able to collect moisture on that way and bring a few short and by areas very isolated showers to somewhere,
more likely we will never ever hear about it again.
for this weekend and for the beginning of next week, we are completely fine.
nothing of danger out there
and nothing expected to form up in vicinity the next days.

there is hope for some water on the east around my hood for this evening.
but IF it comes, it will be as usual just for some, not for all the area to participate, lol.
take a look on the radar,
there are really some small dots moving in almost right now.
