to me the center of circulation is way S and E of DR.
now the big question is:
which drection is the center if circulation Tracking??
we have towatch to see the tendency wheer all teh Mass moves to.
there is def no Center which wnet ashore in DR anywhere.
that former Center(Surface Low) is def not in command of this storm and the center of circulation is way SE of where the Surface Low been shown as the Center on the NHC Maps/oulooks.

well anyway, it's calm I have dough in the fridge, so I will have Pizza for dinner with home made cooked ham, tomatoes from neaples and buffalo cheese in my wood fired oven

I suspect its tracking more west than north maybe even more south. Here in Juan Dolio had a little rain, now none and no wind or very little.

this water Mass is def NOT moved/circulating around any Surface Low located at the DR's SE corner.

until now our South Shores of DR did not get more than some light scratches of far from Center Outer Bands.
the whole show is still far from any start and every more 30 minutes I watch it's movement the more i get the impression that all the shi.t moves west along our south, still nice far out over Sea.
but don't get mistaken on the huge wide windfield.
Mayaguez(WesternPR Tip) does record 50mphr windssince an hour already., there are strong winds reachng far North on the East side of the center of circulation.

Imagine if this was a Cat 5 hurricane with a power eye. If the tracking stays the same the middle of the island would be toast.
I hope its stays as even with or below the 19 degree line for the sake of the North Coast.
Usually we are hoping for it to jump above the 20 degree line. Not this beast.
My read is sustained rains for the North Coast at 10 or 12 pm then the main event in the wee wee hours say 4am.

NHC 8PM update shows the old surface low as the center of Laura.
I don't see any circulation around that surface low.
according to the NHC we are here in Punta Cana since min 1 hr already under TS Force Winds and drowning in rain.
nothing of such is the case, it is dead calm here and the center of circulation is well further S over the nortehrn caribbean Sea.
