Today Dominicana celebrates its independence from Haiti.

How will you spend your day in DR?

We were at Zona Colonial. I didn't see a parade but there were lots of formalities. Tons of people dressed up, gun salute, and music.

Such a shame (but understandable due to COVID-19) cause that military parade rocks.
Especially when the special forces parade by not making a sound ‼️

I have always wondered where they hide all the equipment on display during the parade. All the trucks, cars, moto's, skidoo's, etc. etc. I mean pristine looking like they have been warehoused somewhere waiting for parade day, as you never see anything like that on the streets or in use anywhere. Not a dent scratch any where. 😇
