No this isn't correct. The UK has fully vaccinated 70% of its population. The vaccines are protecting this 70% against getting Covid...

Minor adjustment:

"The UK has almost fully vaccinated 70% of its population 18 years and over."

More on those numbers in the 'About' section as well.

Clearly I am only referring to adults as it's only adults who are being vaccinated. The UK reported 68.5% fully vaccinated yesterday (Tuesday 20th July). Which is pretty much 70%. It's a lot closer to 70% than the DR in any case, which seems to be making up the stats as it goes along depending on who has a hotel where which needs to reopen.

The worry is that the UK is also reporting around 50,000 new cases per day, higher than any other country in the world at the moment, despite being one of the most vaccinated. All down to the Delta variant which hasn't yet arrived in DR, so that's something for y'all to look forward to.

I’ll tell you this much:
It’s a fact that people in critical condition are asking hospital staff, to please vaccinate them.
The doctors can just say that it’s not possible at that point.

Look it up… it’s in the news aplenty.

Get whatever vaccine is there and any boosters offered. Dying of covid is a horrible way to die drowning out of the water…

Natural selection at work. Idiots will be culled in great numbers.

This is a learning and eye opening hands-on experience for many governments, to prepare their systems in the event of a chemical or biological attack. The population that don’t heed instructions will be neutralized on the spot, as they will be walking weapons of mass destruction.

There will be no voluntary anythings.

There’s zero guarantee that this virus will not mutate into a more formidable and unstoppable virus, because each time it completes an infection cycle, it develops into a more effective killer. The Delta variant is just a window into what’s coming next! It sure as hell won’t be a weaker and less infectious variant.

The flu has given us the real roadmap to how quick this will happen. It’s still killing effectively around the world.

Vaccines should be made mandatory worldwide and those that avoid it, must be isolated from public spaces 100%.

Let them die in their own bubble…

US virus cases nearly triple in 2 weeks amid misinformation

Are fewer religulous a bad thing?

With a place like my home country at such low vaccination rates as mentioned in this article, how can anyone think that the DR is hitting 70% vaccination rate in any province or will they ever hit 70% in any province?

My home country cannot legally mandate vaccines that are not approved and are still experimental.
It's president cannot even mandate mask wearing, let alone forcing everyone to be vaccinated.

In the DR anything is possible, but there is already a thread about the government wanting everyone vaccinated, but yet not coming close to forcing that to happen.

Who cares about a country that is a total disaster when it comes to Covid. Most deaths, etc. And politicians spewing misinformation about vaccines that STOP people from being vaccinated. They are far from some barometer on vaccination rates.................................

Obviously not you. Caring that is.

Back to the DR, how soon will Puerto Plata Province magically hit 70% vaccination rate and fully reopen?

One week? Two weeks?

I'm surprised that the UK government let this info out, the USA has been very successful in hiding the fact that most china flu deaths are actually caused by mainly by things such as heart disease, copd, cancer and diabetes, which normally kill about 1.7 million Americans a year

Enough people in the developed world lack the intelligence to protect their own lives.
Even worse when vaccines are available.
I addition they help to spread the virus and help it mutate.

Cases where medical conditions prohibit vaccinations excluded, which are not that many.

The glaring stupidity and polarization are visible, even more macabre in supposed educated populations.
Meanwhile governments, medical staff and emergency services are spinning their wheels into exhaustion.
All in the face of unnecessary and preventable deaths.

Then we have poor countries with billions of people without vaccines and adequate medical care.

Covid will be with us for a long time, costing lives hampering economies and personal lives.

Didn't the ship Bismarck last only about 1 week after leaving it's German base? Ok. 8 days. So let's quote him.

Guess who said that one?

You sooo funny,
But you need to get off your DR Solar once in a while:unsure:

As you may have gathered, or may be not??
Not referring to the Bismarck War Ship, nor the Enola Gay, nor Bismarck North Dakota.

But Otto, his name is easy for you you can also spell it backwards same result.

For your amusement and reading on your solar.

https://www.anquotes.com/otto-von-bismarck-quotes/ :D

So to translate for you:
The fool will not get vaccinated against covid 19.
The wise man will.
See, Otto was way ahead of his time.
