You see!!!!!!!!!! The baby STOPPED crying when someone picked him up! The baby was howling because the filthy scoundrel left him in the shack IN THE DARK. That boy was as scared as you can. Sitting in some cave, buttnaked, in the dark but can hear everyone outside running and playing. All this is cruel psychological torture on budding impessionable minds.

They learn to be egocentric and narcissistic. They become conniving and duplicitous and will do anything to improve their individual situation which usually means the girls will whore themselves for what they think is a better life and the boys will take to cheating and stealing. All the while looking for some savior to fix their issues, either some magical benevolent God in the sky who never acknowledges your suffering or some foolhearty foreigner who will marry some wolf-like woman he just met and bring them to his country where she will live like Cinderella.
