With the deportation of so many Haitians,Some have reasonable cars that are left here.I was wondering about how to buy said cars but get the Money to the people in Haiti.
The govn't is deporting undocumented Haitians. How are they putting the cars in their name if they have no documents. Even the Haitian government couldn't help you find them once they get back to Haiti.

I don't see how you could sell their cars, which certainly wouldn't be registered in your name. If you could, you could send money by Western Union.

I am thinking that selling their cars is the least of their problems. I should add that many who are deported may leave family behind. That auto becomes an asset for them.

They are deporting even third or fourth Generacion residents ,who have homes, cars etc ,want to see a way to assist ,Dom govt not solution but their community is! if I can find connections!
If you´re third or fourth generation deportee, you´d probabbly have friends and relatives that can help you sell the car.

A very few some.

Most Dominicans don’t have not even one car and Haitians are known to be (as a group) some of the poorest people in the country. See where this is going? The average expat has a better chance to afford owning a car than Haitians do.

I find it somewhat funny that in this forum in general there is the claim by some (who in many cases aren’t even black themselves) that anyone that looks black is being stopped and many deported, yet know plenty of people that fit that bill and not once have been stopped, let alone deported. Not saying it doesn’t happen, but…

Living here I am more inclined to assist legal hard working Dominicans.
