Now the Boeing 777 is a slice a heaven, I really do not believe there is a bad seat on that aircraft (well center economy is not desired on any flight) :tired:.
You're right, the 777 is a great aircraft. Lately Continental on their ewr-sdq route has been flying 767's and occasionally they throw in a 777.

Yep. Give me the 767 anyday. Excellent safety record (maybe n?1 in the industry and the best seat config for intercontinental (BRU or AMS-POP) trips 2-3-2. Works for me. I would be hard pushed to board an 800-seater, no matter how many floors.

No wonder you hear that plane crumbling over the city. WOW 45 rows of Dominican passangers thats amazing. Im wondering are they going to use that aircraft this summer?

I heard some people over TV that building the A380 was no use because most airport's runway will have to be extended and that it will basiclly be a waste. Is there anything true about this.

I dont know if there is any truth to that. But if its so wide that its takes up 3 gates then why build the damm thing. Somewhere in middle of all this is the truth.

I am with eddy, I love american aircrafts. I wiould fly in a boeing (777, 767ER, 747) or a MD11 anytime over an airbus. I flew into 777 from NYC to london. Wow, what a plane, state of the art in aviation aircraft designing.

I have flewn a lot but only once i have been afraid and that was with a brand new american build 757. On a flight from Madrid to Brussels there was panic aboard with the cabincrew. They were franticly in search of a cellular phone. It disturbed the instruments so much that the plane was over the atlantic instead of over Europe. State of the art aviation aircraft designing  A 50 $ cellular that can bring down a multimiljon dollar plane.

The controversie over the A380 is the same as the one in 86 where the US opposed the airbusprogramme stating that there wasn't any room for 2 different mediumsized longrange cariers. On which Willy De Clercq (European commissioner for economics and concurence at the time) stated:" The US is for a free market, well let the markets do thier jobs" and in an afterthought he stated: "The Boeing is still on the drawingboard and the airbus is flying..." History has shown Mr Declercq right Airbus won

Sure

(I have you signed up for the shark encounter) LOL
Ouch...

Those sharks will be real big by the time I win the bet!

I had in mind the little girl I put in school and her two brothers! They will kill the sharks with sweetness.

Hey, tough news on the article up above. Let me quote it for you since I am sure you wouldn't read it. LOL

"Airbus is betting it will represent the future of air travel, meeting the demand of the airlines for a new bigger plane to fly between the main international hubs."

"Main international Hubs"... Hmmm... Maybe Punta Cana? LOL
Also this is a list of Airlines who have purchased the product so far.

"A380 ORDERS SO FAR
Emirates: 43 aircraft
Lufthansa: 15
Qantas: 12
Air France: 10
Singapore Airlines: 10
Fedex: 10
International Lease Finance: 10
MAS: 6
Thai Airways: 6
Virgin Atlantic: 6
Korean Airlines: 5
Etihad Airways: 4
Qatar Airways: 2"

I was just trying to figure out which one of these flies the friendly skys of the DR.

Now Boeing 787 Dreamliners sales are over the 200 mark with Continental and Air Canada already in the mix along with many European Airlines.

I think I have a better shot than you do but that is what makes a horserace.

Regards

Boeing might have more orders but the Airbus plane prototype already flies and is scheduled to start service in a year or two. Not sure about the Boeing plane but I haven't seen it and I don't think its development is as far.

I'm confused. Is the question which airplane will be placed in commercial use first, or which will see the DR first? The Concord was in service for more than 25 years and never saw the DR at all.

Now that your deal with Escott is cemented, can I get similar action? No shark encounter, though, unless I can invite my mother-in-law.
