My guess is that you will see the new 787 here before you see the 380.
(Emphasis added.)
Uh oh! At this juncture, try telling Escott that "here" can only mean right on Sosua Beach.

Well this issue needs to be cleared up before we have controversy. I bet European charter companies would be more inclined to buy the Airbus while I see the Boeing in use more for cross Pacific use. But would do I know.

I wasn't thinking about which was supposed to be produced first but which would be seen in the DR first. It was clear that Airbus had a 1 year to 1.5 year advantage on the Boeing Dreamliner. I thought I had the advantage because of the need to alter runways to accomodate the big guy.

As I look back my post clearly stated "here" and your next one after the bet seemed to overlook that saying it would only be used in "Major Hubs".

No problem, we can let it go. I have no problem seeing the misunderstanding after rereading the thread.

I was only going to trade the 100$ Cash for a 200$ voucher and give it to poor kids.

So how about just giving me a discount so I can take the 7 year old I sponsor in private school to Oceanworld along with her 2 brothers. I would love to take pictures of that for my blog! I would love to see the look in their faces in a first class operation like Oceanworld. I remember how impressed I was when I got the tour when you first were opening!

Regards,
Escott

Sorry, rhetorical question. Let me guess, you're Dutch?
Surprised you guessed him to be Dutch, given the referendum.
Didn't you have that flag tilted in your mind when you guessed? ;)
