The Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) has appointed Deputy Amado Díaz Jiménez as its legislative spokesperson for the 2024-2025 term. Díaz Jiménez is in his third term in the Chamber of Deputies.
Representing the 1st District of Santo Domingo, Díaz Jiménez is a lawyer and former deputy prosecutor for the National District.
He was sworn in by PRM vice president Eddy Olivares who said Diaz Jimenez has the task ahead to unify the party’s 145 deputies, including those from allied parties.
As the chair of the Permanent Committee on the Public Ministry in the Chamber of Deputies, Diaz Jimenez has played a role in debates, particularly on constitutional and political issues.
