Over the last days many of you have had countless things to say about him and this is further evidence that there was no such thing as small talk with Lu, many of you made an impact on his life and vice versa. From family, hometown friends, Boys and Girls Club Inc, Lawrence Community Works, Canal Street Gym, GDA, Trinity, Capoeira, Dominican Republic and what seems like every corner of the planet, Lu was a true man of the people and always made sure to make leave a mark no matter where he was. On behalf of the family, I just want to thank you all a million times over.

I meant to say “We don’t know then” and not them. I mean these ideas the thread throws out there that it could have been linked to criticism of Bolsanero is all just speculation.
In Telesur English an anti-Bolsonaro article was published today Oct 18, includes a Tweet connecting Lu's death to Bolsonaro. This appears to be speculation.

This article in Portuguese mentions there was a protest on Sunday Oct 17 regarding his killing. It also mentions that he published 11 books, including one about Marielle Franco. She was gunned down in 2018 by organized crime for her political stance, very similar way as Lu was killed.

Why does it seem that almost every single post involving the death of anyone that gets posted here over the years............turns from condolences to rank speculation on the who, what, when, where, why and how.
Posts like these should be just that..............condolences or positive personal memories..........no political or whodunnit battles should be waged here or in any notice post such as this one.
