Another murder in Sosua

Werner, the German owner of the Plaza Caribe building in Pedro Clisante, was attacked and beated very badly a few days ago at his home and this morning he died. The perpetrators were supposedly three or four Haitians who got away.
I have this from close friends of Werner, and it's all the info I got.
Werner was a goodhearted guy who never harmed others.
Rest in peace Werner.

On the other hand most likely there will not be any 'official' reports or newspaper article about the murder.
And, alas, if there are, they'd be full of errors or even outright false. (As so many times... )

I am shocked to hear that Werner has passed away. Although I did not really know him I saw him just about every other day and we always greeted each other whether it was at Bologna, Cafe Cubano or the casino. He was always very polite and kept himself to himself.

I've never had the privilege to get to know Werner personally, but I heard him mentioned many times and only in good terms.
Certainly a tremendous lost to his family and friends, but also one more blow to us all on the North Coast and this country.
This has to stop, and NOW.

Am I correct in thinking Werner was a long time resident of Sosua? I also want to point out that the persons who perform the murder can be hired by someone who wants the person dead. Werner's property was valuable.

In Pedro Clisante. The big white building across the street from Villa Flor and Norte?o. He had his entrance on the backside of the building, but I don't know, if the robbers were waiting for him there, or in his apartment on the third flor.

I really start to have the impression, some don't read past the last or the two first posts on a thread before the hit the "Post reply" button.
The ethnicity/nationality of the alleged perpetrators has been asked about and answered on this thread before: The victim (Werner) is said to have claimed that they were Haitians.
