This is interesting, so Altice have no cap at all, or no slow down after certain GB on their "Illimitado Internet Movil" plans... !?
I will be interested in this, but I need it for a few months and then switch off for a few months while away, and back on again... I wonder if they accept suspending or cancel and restart etc... !?
They have a correct use policy on unlimited internet, if you abuse they will cap or downgrade your service, thats in general. Claro and Altice downgrade to 256 kbps, VIVA 512 kbps. If you have a contract for a service by speed then not limit on downloads.
About the contracts will depends on what kind of contract do you have, for example if you have a normal plan and signed for 18 moths contract before those 18 months you can not cancell without penalities, after 18 months you can cancell and have the option to change your number to prepaid and the added credit will last long up to 90 days.
If you have a plan with not contract you can cancell any time without penalities.
Being prepaid if you do not add more credit berore 90 days then you will loose your money and the line will be suspended untill you add credit.
If you add the credit before 90 days you will recover the balance in the line and will be added the new credit you top.
This is in VIVA, and I can tell that the other day I forgot to add credit before expiration date of the service to a line with 1,800.00 pesos in credit, I went to add 300.00 pesos, as was during the period before the 90 days the line was activated with 2,100.00 pesos in Credit, the 1,800.00 from before and the 300.00 new added. Some members here said that Altice is not implementing that rule by law. so better ask everything before. That must be applied the same in all companies.
