Anyone travelling from Toronto to POP willing to take a bag of clothes???

My husband?s cousin lives in the POP area and she has a very hard time finding clothes to fit her in the DR because she takes larger sizes and has very limited funds to purchase anything in the nearly non-existent plus size market in the POP area. We have purchased her some nice outfits here in Toronto that we would love to send to her and were wondering if there is anyone willing to take it who travels light and would not mind taking an extra bag (it?s a small suitcase ? not sure of the weight but I can weigh it and let you know). We would be willing to pay you for your kindness and we will have the cousin meet you at the airport to pick-up the clothes on your arrival. You can check the bag yourself to see that we are not sending anything illegal, etc.

If anyone would be willing and is going in the next little while, please send me a PM. Also if anyone has any better ideas of how we can get the clothes there without paying a fortune and without waiting several months until our next vacation, please do post it. Thanks.

Thank you so much to those that sent me a PM. We have decided to send a box instead. A friend of mine has put us in touch with a friend of hers that has a company shipping stuff to the DR so we are going to send a whole box (24x24x24) for $160. This way we can send the clothes and a bunch of food for my husband?s family and school supplies, etc. for the kids. If anyone from Toronto or in Canada ever need to ship stuff down there, here is the link of the company and the contact person I spoke to is Maximo - PERALTA BROS. SHIPPING. He is Dominican from the POP area and very nice. He flies down from Toronto to meet the shipment. My husband picked up the box last night and it?s HUGE!!! LOL. I don?t know how we are going to fill it all up. There is no weight restrictions and the $160 includes all duty and taxes that would be owing and the cost for shipping. A pretty great deal we think! It leaves on Tuesday and will arrive in POP September 22. My friend that recommended me to him is also married to a Dominican and they have sent lots of stuff before, including a used fridge to her husband?s parents and everything has always arrived safe and sound and he delivers it right to the door of the person you are sending to. Anyway, thanks again for your offers.
