I give it one month and this will end due to pressure from within.
It’s better to do what has to be done to return peace and stability (and get rid of the gangs) during a few short years and then spend decades with the left whinning of what happened (all while drinking a capuccino in a new café built in a safe area that before was controlled by the gangs.)

Returning Port-au-Prince back to peace and stability is not an option, it’s an obligation. Barbecue et al need to go, no but, no maybe, no “lets talk about it.”

I spent many a morning at the French Foreign Correspondents Club in Phnom Penh (fantstic view) over hearing those dirtbags complain and talk shit behind people's backs while sucking down their lattes.

Kenyan police have a good reputation when it comes to handling business. I'm looking forward to seeing them make an example out of these gangs along with their supporters.
