Pastor Rossy Guzmán Sánchez, accused in the Coral case, would celebrate evangelical services every Monday in the esplanade of the Presidential Security Corps (Cusep) at the Presidential Palace. Listín Diario reports that these were obligatory for the around 1,000 persons who were summoned, including off-duty military and police. Military and police who refused to attend were punished with up to 10 days in the military or police prison as ordered by Major General Adán Cáceres, who served as head of the Cusep from 2012 to 2020

The pastor Rossy Guzmán and Cáceres were sent to the Najayo Jail on 10 May 2021 to await the deliberations of the Operation Coral case in court.
