If he calls again and you really want to pi$$ him off, just tell him you found a really nice Haitian guy that you bought a car and phone for and rented him a nice apt, and tell him you like the Haitiano more that him....that should bruise his ego......
My thoughts, not yours.....

Noooo don’t do it :)
Tell him your husband left you and your getting divorced because your husband heard you calling his name in your sleep...then tell him you have no money or food until lawyer gives you half the money in 30 days....all you want to do is come back to paradise and live! Start with need money for cell minutes then move to plane ticket ;)
Oh almost forgot ... before you start asking for money , ask him if $600000 US is enough to retire down there and how much is a nice house since his opinion means so much to you :)
The reverse sanky ;)

Evil geniuses :D

I wish it were true Riva that Dominicans are ashamed of some of their behavior but you are one of very few and a rare exception.
Just some examples - a fish very successful restaurant near the semaforo en Charamicos that illegally tied into Coraplata water and his leak wasted hundreds of thousands of gallons of water (they could easily pay) , or the taxi drivers and motos who drive into our neighborhood and toss bags of trash and Styrofoam food containers onto the street or empty lots.
Or the taller that tells you and charges you for a name brand part installed on your car only to find out when it broke it was
actually Chinese crap, and there is no real warranty.

Or those who have special "gringo prices".
There are no jacked up prices for Dominicans in the states. Everyone is given the same deal as it should be and Americans would speak out if they caught a business charging someone extra because they weren't born there.

When the pollution, tricks and gouging stop then Latin America will find its real success.
But will it ever be more than immediate satisfaction (plato del día) and sankyism ?

ahhh...yes. those dishonest Dominican repair shops, which rip off their customers. how unethical...
