I do not understand on how they are working on opening a season, when the US of A leagues are still in pause mode at this point in time.

Major League Baseball has nothing to do with the baseball season in the DR.. They always start around the time the majors end, that there isn’t a season is just coincidental. That they are starting later is a good idea given what’s going on

I was not drawing a comparison to the seasons or cultural impacts of the two distinct leagues, but rather in how the greater entity would be handling it's Covid-19 preparation and response into administrative, management, player's and fan's safety at such large gatherings for the sport itself.

If you want to discuss a common denominator between the two leagues, what of those Dominican players who participate in the DWL, and are currently under a signed contract by a US of A major league team? Would the MLB team allow the player to participate? Would the player want to accept that risk? What of the player's agent, and his advice?

Since the MLB is not in play as of now, should the DWL look towards the Korean league for guidance in how to move forward?
