I was watching a program where there was some sort of hip-hop fest going on. Some of the people that were interviewed were homosexuals who dressed like women.

Funny enough they said that they hook up with guys who you would never think were into that. They said that some of the most hard-core, thugged out dudes were into having sex with trannies and effeminate homosexuals(is there a difference? I don't know nor do I care).

So it just goes to show you Ladybird, since you seem a tad obsessed with this topic, that maybe when lajackael posted seeing two guys with those men dresssed as women that maybe they knew and didn't care because that is what they were after.

By the way, please do not think that men are ever fooled. We know who is who. Those two cats in Santiago buying their trannie honeys drinks knew full well what they had. That is why they were so happy.

very very true. Guys who are into trannies (so i've notieced) always seem to be very macho or thugged out guys.

I used to be a room service waiter at a posh hotel...and one of our regulars was a very famous Boxer and his trannie friend.

There is also a large amount of straight guys who get off on cross-dressing. That isnt transgendered tho.

eh..its all complicated. I dont "get" the trans thing myself (much like many people dont "get" my being gay). But i say live and let live (as long as they arent duping unsuspecting straight dudes...thats just not right)

THere is a big argument going on these days amongst the community as to weather or not transgendered people fall under the umbrella (or rainbow) of the G&LB community...as gender identity is different than sexual orientation.

i HAVE to share this quote someone said while trying to pick me up recently...and he was a pretty tough looking black dude "Most days I am wearing make-up and living tranny....but today I am swinging meat". lololololol. (i declined)

One last comment....i find this thread interesting cuz on one of my last trips to boca chica my friends and i commented on how that many of the working girls looked liked trannies (way over done up etc).

I remember seeing the first tranny I noticed in Sosua a few years ago. It was definitely obvious she was really a he.

This past year on future visits I have noticed the tranny population in Sosua increased quite a bit.

Someone has to be interested in them or they wouldnt be arriving in greater numbers.

There are a number of people who post on this site and on another Dominican Republic related site who have found themselves wake up with something not quite exptected. Its does happen, but will never happen to me!

Think Beads is right - they go where the money is - some one must be paying the bills!

In Sosua there is more and more of them. Friday night I saw a big group came in at Sosua Life, think it was 5 or 6 of them, that I never seen before. Very easy to spot though since they came in a group. Maybe a couple of them could have passed as women if they had operated alone.

Some very macho guys in Latin Amreican contries like trannies because those macho guys are essentially gay/bi but have a hard time accepting that fact. If they go for the tranny it somewhat justifies it to themselves that they are not gay because it look like a woman.

It's just a matter of "buyer beware", accept the fact that there are many "different" types of people out there, live and let live. And if you do end up with a tranny accidentally, down a few shots of tequila and experiment, you might just like it. lol

There are huge differences between transexuals and transvestites: the former believe themselves to be female trapped in a male body, hormonal imbalances maybe from birth, very difficult teenge years etc etc. The latter may be either heterosexual or gay men who just like to dress up. Just because you wear leather doesn't mean you want to be cow........... :)

Several She Males spotted in Sosua tonight. More than usual.

There was another post about the Pick Pockets being arrested, perhaps some were, but from all reports this evening, there are several still attempting to do this.

Is this place a Hoot, or What ?

When I used to promote club parties, years ago in Manhattan, I tranny told me that when <i style="text-decoration:line-through"; />she</i> he would get them back at the house and tell the guys what <i style="text-decoration:line-through"; />she</i> <i style="text-decoration:line-through"; />he</i> ??? is, they would shrub their shoulders and GO FOR IT!!

The only reason, you see Tranny's in Sosua or where-ever is because there's a market for it.
