any accommodations like a B&B near Rio San Juan or Cabrera, or apt. condo rentals?

I spent a wonderful time with Dean and Randy, who have a B & B in Cabrera, close to Rio San Juan.
Their phone number is 809-828-2668. There is also a great hotel just as you enter Cabrera, coming
from the west, whose name I forget! Can't miss it. Semi-upscale, great restaurant!:classic

Just outside of Rio San Juan is small beach resort, Los Gringos Home Page and as the other poster stated Cabrera is a nice town, not far from Rio San Juan, with condos or hotel rooms available at Hotel La Catalina Hotel La Catalina - Cabrera, North Coast Dominican Republic Hotel Resort.

As Fulano2 has said Hotel Bahia Blanca in Rio San Juan, it is a great stay, nice and relaxing safe and on the beach.

I second Bahia Blanca. Great ocean views and a simple, warm atmosphere.
