Ok, to see if I understand this, in the case of Bella Terra Mall, each empty store is simply a small piece of an already existing parallel business that is operating successfully and the lack of customers at the mall store is of no consequence since the parallel business is doing well. If this is the case, why then have the mall store? Simply a vanity?

Nothing to contribute but this...their night club Level is the best freaking night club/disco I've been to in Santiago!!! From the sound system, light system, DJ, VIP treatment, drinks, decor holly cow!!! Whenever I go there I feel like I'm in Prague or something. If any of you are into the whole dance/techno music crowd you must definitely have to check this place out.

Sincerely,
El Tigre : - )

are you trying to prove that you're right?
because those of us who live in santiago know that this mall is a joke and there are few people in it. the plaza internacional is more frequented.
and. if i wanted to see pictures from the bufeo webpage, i could have gone there instead of scrolling through this ridiculously long post about nothing.

I wasn't impressed with this mall on my one and only visit today, but it does have potential.

i cannot be bothered to read all this thread about dead shopping centres but i do have a question: aldo store, in blue mall in SD, i believe. does it still exist? what prices?
i did my shopping in aldo few weeks ago, over the internet, of course. i got hmm... about 7 pairs of shoes? kinda daily stuff. paid less about 150 dollars for all of them, shipping included. some flats were less than 10 bucks. sale. do they even DO sale here in DR store?

i would really like to know what is going on in those malls. i went to jumbo last moth, they have been open for ages and still empty. there are only few shops and most units stand empty and dark, not even finished (floors, cement etc).
