44 to be exact and I am getting better at it every day I practice.... Yes for kids, Yes I am a kid forever, I embrace it and I love it. If it bothers you, well then I guess you speak to your therapist about it. For me, single, no kids, its totally OK.
It depends on what you're looking for. I'm 42, and I would not look for girlfriend material in a mall. But for casual relationships, a mall is ideal, just like supermarkets.
Not Bellavista mall, though. That's more for suited for archaeological research, IMO. But Blue Mall, Sambil, Agora, even Acropolis are great places to meet young women.

You are so correct on your observations about each mall! However, being a very experienced mall troller, I can say that blue Mall can be a bit difficult. I have had much better luck at Agora, but the real winner as malls go for picking up chicks is definetly Mega Centro......It seems that all the chicks in mega centro are always very very friendly.
Well, yes. But the most young girls you find there are...uh...too seasoned?

What kinda bothers me in most malls in santiago is they are half empty bella terra for example and collinas mall. Meaning to shop locations for rent 60 % or more specialy in conilas mall Thats why i prefer plaza international. They shouldnt be building to many malls as there are so many not even filled with stores making them unpleasand to go to. Bella terra is a ok place to go though but not to shop as most of it is empty you can only go to eat and a drink

The Malec?n Center is the biggest white elephant on the island. The two apartment towers are sparsely populated and look like a monosyllabic crossword puzzle at night. The mall occupancy is pathetic. The Hilton may be doing well but the casino is gone. The public garage is so poorly designed it looks like a muggers paradise with lots of dark corners.
it amazes me that people are so behind the curve that they are still building malls. that is over. ebay and Amazon put an end to that stuff.
this is the DR, not Brussels. in the DR, the people who go to the malls for what you characterize as the "experience" have no money. they guys who can afford the malls all have Amazon accounts and package delivery service, so they are now shopping on line. the services like Vimenpaq, business mail, etc, are sprouting like weeds. soon the malls will be inadvertent homeless shelters.
True but most of the people i know in santiago do order a lot of clothes on amzon. I did see the answer a bit in general but people do still shop at the malls to buy only in plaza international though . Others are as i said indeed empty.
they are all suffering from the Dominican disease; overcapacity. so, they build more and more of everything, and have no customers to support the venture...
Yes that was my point about the malls. To many and to big. No need for another half empty mall. Stupid investments.
But i do love the cinema in bella terra you can go for a 100 peso on monday to wednesday new movies . in belgium you lose 30 euros everytime you go. And the seats here move back so cumfy but typicly dominican they have a VIP room too . Leatherseats and everything

A large selection of banks as well as a grocery store and an upstairs food court with Taco Bell, Burger King, pizza, Dominican food, ice cream, etc.
