Less than a month away. Been doing a lot of reading on this site and would like to thank everyone for all the good info. Was kind of wondering about the money thing. I'm not sure how much US money to convert to pesos since this hotel is an AI. Is there a shopping area around, and would you recommend going there? Do street vendors prefer pesos or American dollars?

Street vendors, restaurants and bars will take Pesos or Dollars. But you will likely get the best deals with pesos.
