Below zero temperatures in Constanza

The Weather Office (Onamet) reports temperatures of -1C in Valle Nuevo, Constanza municipality in the central La Vega province. Gloria Ceballos, director of Onamet, said that a cold front is bringing the chilly temperatures that characterize Dominican “winters”.

She says from November to early April, cold fronts deliver the cooler temperatures. She said the chill is early this year because this is still fall time, with winter beginning around 20-21 December.

You can get frost without the freezing temp. Evaporative cooling near the ground.
But it is a really nice picture.

-50? that's pretty nippy.

I really don't like the summer heat in Caribic. But for a longer stay anywhere without decent heating I would choose +40.
