bamboo bar also does a great pitcher of sangria ... or at least used to. That being said, I always hate making recommendations for anywhere in el Cortecito area any more.... invariably, either ownership / management changes or the whole restaurant changes faster than I change my socks... (when I wear them... lol) it's been since Jan. when I was last on the island... who knows what has changed by now. LOL

There's actually a new place next door to Citrus, called WOW that looks interesting...haven't tried it yet, but plan to before I go back up north for some power-shopping!

That's good to know, will have to give WOW a try next trip. I like the Cuban restaurant there too.. called Don Pio's, 6+ visits (although had one bad -slow service-- experience there when apparently they had a kitchen staff emergency.) I have a love / hate relationship with Citrus. (5 or 6 visits). Usually great food... but service and staff attitude can be problematic... especially when they're busy. Best to go on a slow night. Pastrata (Mexican food) a couple of blocks up the road is always a good bet. (4 or 5 visits)

Wow has excellent whole fish and salmon filets. It's on my regular rotation of restaurants now.
