beware of the baca - I want more!

Thanks Ken for making me smile with a knowing nod...great read! So many of the quirky ways of Dominicans are now explained but I need to know more and especially re the remedies for various ailments so if anyone can add to the content it would be a real boon to those married to a Dominican!

Ade, glad you enjoyed the book. There have been some threads that included information on the use of different plants as medicine, etc. Not sure how to access them, but doing a search of the archives for Dominican folklore would be a good way to start. Hopefullly somebody can give you a link to one of those threads, but in meantime, look in the archives.
