Luz out for > 4 hours in our neighborhood. If they ever give gold medals in stupidity and incompetence, EDEstupido will win hands down.

This is of course after the maintenance bulletin online sez no maintenance for Boca Chica this week.

When you write them they tell you your data is incomplete because you don't include your contract #. But yet I told them the neighborhood. They don't know? What a bunch of fucking idiots. 3 1/2 hours and counting.

This is the reason we relocated to Cap Cana. I'm tired of BS with blackouts, water issues and all that. Fuck these corrupts at all cost. I'm just done. Now my family is happy peace life in Cap Cana since 2 months.

Cap Cana has its issues. Maybe not as often but they have issues. You do not hear about them much as issues tend to be resolved a bit more quickly given how much one pays to live there.

There's a lot of places in Cap Cana where it smells like sewage. Especially near some waterfront apartment complexes, Punta Palmera for example, looks like all sewage goes right to the canal near the property. I rented for one month there, wanted to sign a long term contract but decided to leave because of that smell.

there should be a development freeze until infrastructure can catch up

of course, that will never happen
Development where, in Boca Chica? The whole place looks like after a nuclear war, everything is abandoned, rotten and falling apart. 20 years ago it was a funky place, very alive, you could walk the main street and see how black American midget is picking up a one legged 8 months pregnant prostitute, and things like that. Now it's totally dead and abandoned, what development? Two new condo buildings during 20 years and a third one still unfinished?

Just don't get me wrong. In my opinion, Boca Chica was the coolest place in DR 20 years ago. I could easily spend 10 days on the beach in Hamaca (that was Hilton back then) or Don Juan Beach Resort (Whala Boca Chica now), or just drive there for a weekend and stay in a small hotel in 2003-2004, I loved to spend evenings on that street parallel to the beach, there was the weirdest crowd you could ever find, but it was a lot of fun. The whole little town with its whorehouses, drug dealers, hundreds of ugliest prostitutes in the world (and at least half of them were at least 6 months pregnant LOL), all those small bars and their visitors, small hotels, it all was a lot of fun. I even have spent New Year's Eve there twice instead of going to Miami or New York, so I really loved the place back then.

But after 2007 it all started to fall apart, it still was fun to visit until 2012 more or less, but now there's nothing left, just some crappy place where everything is abandoned, closed, under construction, covered in garbage, and very loud shltty music is playing from crappy speakers on the beach all day long. Nothing left from old Boca Chica, unfortunately.

Anyone else have problems? Ours went out at 2PM. There is nothing I can make out on EDEEste's website. My kid tried calling them but he says they're speaking Chinese.
Maybe that's the problem. Are Chinese are running the Ede?
Transformers only good 6 month.

All I can say is you missed the really crazy great times in Boca Chica back in the late seventies and early eighties. It was a madhouse.
