Port-au-Prince, Sep 2 (Prensa Latina) U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit Haiti this month, where he will find a series of contradictions that impede progress on political issues.

Blinken was the main figure in the baptism of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT), in fact, he also pushed for the formation of this apparatus.
Several personalities insist that there is a monopolization of the levers of power, a criterion that is strengthened when it is known that the CPT “changed the rules of the majority in the entity from four out of seven to five out of seven votes”, the newspaper Le Nouvelliste pointed out.
Those who thought that the majority of five out of seven would maintain the CPT did not calculate – according to the newspaper – the weight of a blocking minority of three out of seven, which is just as effective.
The newspaper recalls that three of the members of the aforementioned political apparatus are accused of corruption.
While awaiting Blinken’s visit, many wonders if he will turn the key to restart a blocked power mechanism that is going in the wrong direction, the newspaper commented.

Blinken has been sticking his nose in places he has no business being since being brought on
as Secretary of State. This activist is as bad as they come. He tried desperately but ultimately FAILED
(something he must very comfortable doing) to put together/ buy a coalition of adversaries in the
Turkish election in May of last year to oust their current President Mr. Erdogan.
He's a living/ breathing P.O.S. so I've no doubt he'll be happy to rub shoulders with a few
Haitian's slimey government officials.

Julio Hazim has said on several shows that Blinken went to Haiti and on the same day headed to the DR not to meet with Abinader, rather to sleep in a five star hotel. Lol

Was Blinken not aware there is a Marriott in Port-au-Prince?
