Staying in the mix from yesterday...
A classic:
The Highball.
A base two ingredient cocktail.
1 whiskey to 2 soda or ginger ale.
Ginger ale: is
Canada Dry Ginger Ale tonight
I'm sourcing my ingredients from what is available here in

.
Why

Cuz I live in EAST SIDE

But I read a post from a pedantic person that informed me that I do not know where I live.
That I actually live in Santo Domingo este.
It is a separate municipality with it's own mayor.
It is amazing the things I learn from DR1.
Am I going to stop saying I live on EAST SIDE

Nah...
I broke out the
King's Label (Black label)
This King's Label is reported to be 12 years old.
Starting out as scotch.
Then mixed up, bottled and aged here in

by Bermudez.
This is a sipping whisky.
And it mixes well.
And you simply cannot beat the price if it is truly a 12 year old product.
I can taste the refinement neat.
And I have served it to many a Dominican who has never had it before.
And they have all enjoyed it.
Such a shame when their are true local gems that are overlooked (IMO) because of lack or prestige.
Does not me from sipping it, serving it, and proudly displaying on my shelf.
I even give bottles away as gifts.
But this down as a solid number 2 on the
Highball list
I will re up
Kings Label Black 12 year | 700 ml | 455 | | Ron Depot |

Wait, Wait
I do not need to.
I already got a back up bottle on my shelf.
