Can anyone tell me if I need more than proof of rabies when I bring my dog to DR for 6 months??
I'm coming from Canada and was recently told by a vet that i need papers and vet from Agricultural Canada to sign off on the dog to travel.
Saying the DR requires it??? Another cost of 100$.
What's the truth?

Once people are here, there are having huge problems getting their dogs back home again. Some are contracting private carriers to bring them back home.

If your dog is a large one, it is all the harder.

It’s used to be much simpler but Covid has made it extremely difficult. Rescues are worried because they can no longer send adopted dogs back to Canada. Prices are preventative- as steep as $1000 one way for one small dog.
