Looking to construct a 2 bedroom home..but hearing that construction cost has dramatically increased, is it possible to build a home no more than $100k..fortunately, we already have the land.
It's definitely possible if you already have the land. But it really depends on what you're looking to do, quality of finishing work, whether you're also budgeting for appliances in those 100K, and how involved you'll be. Construction costs go up significantly if you're not there to supervise the work.

What are the generator costs when building from the ground up?

Or are they able to tap into Edenorte from the getgo?

I built my house in the village myself. I made the plans, 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room a toilet and a garage 150M2 all in cement. I bought the cement, metal bar, sand and blocks. Then I hired 4 experienced workers. It is built like a bunker. For doors and windows I took the best contract offers on the market. You have to speak a little Spanish. Under 100K before covid.
