I have no problem paying for skilled labor as long as they are skilled. still cheap ...1000-1200 for general labour, 1800-2500 for skilled labour on the north coast,
Where is the house. Market values don't double just because building materials and labor have. In fact it could be less, again, depending on location and amenitiesWe built our house in 2015. I bet it would be double now. The Canadian dollar was worth more then too.
Which is why I mentioned location a few times. No, but price can double based on availability of land or houses in a desirable area. Any property in a good area close to or in town in Jarabacoa is 6500 pesos a meter or more. It is currently cheaper to buy a bigger ten-year-old house that to build a lesser one.
Can they tell the time nowadays?I recall the going rate for Haitian construction labor was 500/day. I now heard the other day it can be up to 1500
