I hear they catch some big ones at Islabon, just off the main highway near Sabaneta, but it does have to be very early in the morning...thanks for the tip about the fishing section in Santiago...we're looking for a rod, too.

Have 2 new Coleman pocket fisherman pens brought from the states. Thought we'd want to try fishing but instead we are enjoying snorkeling.

Does anyone know where to get bait for trolling (ballyhoo)? Preferably on the North Coast or Santiago?
