Its expected and makes sense for them, preventive maintenance or scheduled service maintenance's are costly but controversially its rather cheaper to repair if/when broken.

Had a Summit with another dealer, but wanted to pay no separation before financing was clear. Next day it was sold to somebody else. Seller told me sheer bad luck. It was 3 month in the exhibition without somebody was interested.

Summit is just trim - I have one in Canada - 2012 w/ 55,000 miles
Have had similar bad luck - twice.
Once went home to get the trade... returned in 30-40 minutes ---GONE
Second here in RD...
said I'd call back after getting my wife at airport.... GONE 2-3 hours later
Cost me $2-3,000 more to get the next in line - other dealer
Always lock the deal up for the day or so...lesson learned

it is absolutely gorgeous..the color combination is wonderful, and it runs like new..
you could drive away something similar for about 34k. be careful who you buy from. there are shufflers out there, advertising the same car in different ads, for different prices..

Maybe to help others and some clarification exactly what service does the gorgon (Mike) provide. I don't doubt he knows his automobiles but some might be interested in what he does.
@ the gorgon do you have an "official name" for your business? Maybe you can expand and cater lunch during negotiations. Either way good luck................
actually, BB, i sometimes just run an ad in the classifieds. i have to update it, because it just expired recently. i basically just help people find a good car which is within their budget...
i make sure that when you drive the car away, it is as good as you can get for the money. i just cannot guarantee that it will never have a problem in the foreseeable future, but my examinations will help you get a great car.
Are there any warranties provided by the dealers in the DR, the vehicle its obviously used?
there is no really worthwhile warranty offered by dealers of used cars..once in a while you will get the remaining warranty on a car which was sold here new. otherwise, you will probably get 60 days engine and tranny..
