Hey all I just discovered this community. As a new expat in DR, this is a blessing.
Because of tax advantages (in case I want to move back to Europe), I'm contemplating incorporating an SLR to purchase a property in DR that I'm buying and have a couple of questions:
1. Is it legal to reside privately in a property owned by an SRL that you own 100%?
2. What annual filings do you have to make as an SRL? I suppose annual reports are required?
3. What items can I deduct pre-corporation tax? HOA fees, electricity, water?
