I'd bet the beams are made and ready to go.And that's just the abutments. Then they have to set or cast-in-place beams, then a roadbed deck and then guard rails and striping. I'm thinking May - weather depending

Maybe, but only if they set the anchors or pads with surveyors according to design. Those would require coordination - something woefully lacking in DR constructionI'd bet the beams are made and ready to go.
You've been away from civilization too long, my friend. -Maybe, but only if they set the anchors or pads with surveyors according to design. Those would require coordination - something woefully lacking in DR construction
Quirks - to say the leastEstrella is a large international engineering firm. I think they know what they're doing. But as we al know the DR can have it's own quirks.
As an engineer who has built several similar structures, I can tell you good crews (even the ones I had on projects from Korea, Turkey and Thailand would have had this bridge built long agoYou've been away from civilization too long, my friend. -
They did have the extensive delay in buying the additional land.As an engineer who has built several similar structures, I can tell you good crews (even the ones I had on projects from Korea, Turkey and Thailand would have had this bridge built long ago
Hey CB, take a look. They were pouring last night! As an engineer who has built several similar structures, I can tell you good crews (even the ones I had on projects from Korea, Turkey and Thailand would have had this bridge built long ago
March 2024 was my guess and I am sticking with that.I will be optimistic and say mid-February 2024.
They can strip after a week, that's a full week's work, backfill is another 3-4 weeks work, in the meantime they can also pour the other side, set the pads for beams and bring them in after a month of cure (if the beams are already pre-cast and cured or if they are fabricated steel) then they can start to form a deck, place steel pour and cure the deck (renderings show a concrete deck) then set or pour guard rails,Hey CB, take a look. They were pouring last night!
Once that starts to set they can start backfilling in the outsides while it's curing.
Hopefully in my next trip Will be 100% complete ✅I hope that's Cor-Ten steel and not needing sandblasting and painting in place.
Lots of welding to be done.
Won't be open this year that's a given
