And that's just the abutments. Then they have to set or cast-in-place beams, then a roadbed deck and then guard rails and striping. I'm thinking May - weather depending
I'd bet the beams are made and ready to go.

Estrella is a large international engineering firm. I think they know what they're doing. But as we al know the DR can have it's own quirks.

You've been away from civilization too long, my friend. -
As an engineer who has built several similar structures, I can tell you good crews (even the ones I had on projects from Korea, Turkey and Thailand would have had this bridge built long ago

They did have the extensive delay in buying the additional land.

Hey CB, take a look. They were pouring last night!

Once that starts to set they can start backfilling in the outsides while it's curing.
They can strip after a week, that's a full week's work, backfill is another 3-4 weeks work, in the meantime they can also pour the other side, set the pads for beams and bring them in after a month of cure (if the beams are already pre-cast and cured or if they are fabricated steel) then they can start to form a deck, place steel pour and cure the deck (renderings show a concrete deck) then set or pour guard rails,
After that they backfill, compact and pour followed by asphalt on each side for new approaches, stripe the deck, replace the water supply pipe to Cangrejo and set new electric light poles....hmm I say April for the actual first black SUV with flashing lights to drive across. It will not be December 2023.
They also will need to have rock (boulders like we saw in Sosua) erosion protection to prevent future undermining of abutments
Remember nothing much gets done between mid-December and Three Kings

There are new photos of the heavy equipment arriving for the placement of the spans or whatever they are called and the pads are stripped of the forms or whatever they are called. It was on Facecrack posted by the El Lider page if anyone wants to look at or post the photos, that is above my pay grade.

I hope that's Cor-Ten steel and not needing sandblasting and painting in place.
Lots of welding to be done.
Won't be open this year that's a given
