I'm still considering.Hey, I invited you for happy hour to patch things up!
How about the intersection going up to Hispanola? How long do we have to put up with a dip going across the road. You would think the taxi drivers are hating thatThey've been working on the shoulder of the road in Sosua from the light at Dr. Rosen to Pappaterra for a year now, but they're going to finish that bridge in two more weeks? I have my doubts!
& 1 crap fisher under the bridge
More from Hamilton's favorite sock& 1 crap fisher under the bridge
I saw a couple fotos on FB. they have placed steel corrugated panels between the beams and rebar on top. Not going to be prefabAnybody passed by in the last day or two. I'm wondering if they're gonna pour cement or lay prefabricated panels.
These might be the photos your were referring to.I saw a couple fotos on FB. they have placed steel corrugated panels between the beams and rebar on top. Not going to be prefab
way to think ahead sounds perfect for here
Gives support to the cement without the weightThese might be the photos your were referring to.
I was thinking that the white things almost look they are round tubes but could not understand what their purpose would be unless they have holes in them for drainage. But corrugated panels makes more sense.
One thing is for certain, that bridge not going to be finished in time for the scheduled celebration on December 17
Keep in mind an old goal of the government was to have a 4 lane road from Puerto Plata to Sosua and beyond.Looks like it is being built as a 4 lane bridge but will probably be used as a 2 lane bridge.
The outside lanes will be used by the moto's and taxis for passing
Or for people who want to walk across the bridge
Oh and room to fish and retrieve the crab pots to
My 'old' goal was to have $10 million when I retired.Keep in mind an old goal of the government was to have a 4 lane road from Puerto Plata to Sosua and beyond.
A reason whey extra land was needed and caused a long delay in rebuilding.
So making this critical bridge 4 lanes could be a part of that eventual or maybe never plan.
They do seem to finally be working hard on the bridge.
9 days to finish the steel, pour the deck and backfill the abutments on each side just wide enough so the President can walk across and back is possible, but not to be open for traffic.
