That would be me.
I think it will be far enough along to merit an opening ceremony like they did in La Vega, with minor details still needing attention.

There won't be a road bed. I think that is not a minor detail.

Google Earth clearly shows the river is a little over 100 ft wide:

Yes have a look at picture it's old picture when bridge was dismantled yes it was 100' .it is no longer 100' they built up both sides 25'-30' ... there's a date on picture you posted 1st clue .... plus don't forget they quietly removed old foundation and did redesign .. Im traveling island with my family sorry for brief replies!

The topic wasn't how wide the river will be after the new bridge is built; it was how wide was it before. The pic I posted was in May of 2023. Construction had already been started and fill added, and the photo showed it was over 100 ft wide at that time.

Kicking a dead horse but the picture in post 763 is with the fill added.

Well. They're still quite a few days from pouring with only a month and a half to go.

And that's just the abutments. Then they have to set or cast-in-place beams, then a roadbed deck and then guard rails and striping. I'm thinking May - weather depending

what another project behind schedule I don't believe it
