Changes in Dominican citizenship?

Today’s paper says the NY Consulate is lowering the cost for children of Dominicans who were born in the USA to get their Dominican citizenship, from $165 to $135. They also add “and for those married to Dominicans who wish to get it”.

Hmmmmmmm........ something to keep an eye on, maybe they’re going to streamline that too???

Today our USA born daughter got her Dominican birth certificate and first cedula! At the same time, she submitted the paperwork for her two sons 😊

Start to finish it took about 4 months, the Philadelphia consulate is so disorganized.
