The Senate has approved a modification to 613-16 Law. Originally it state that gun permits are only for 1 year, that meant permit renewal was yearly. The modification is of making gun permits last for 2 years prior to renewal.

Getting rid of of the absolutely ridiculous (now semi-) annual ballistics check would be a good change as well.
