Zip your self...........You only have brain to sudgest that only AA has Net special? Think Think you have more airlines that flys to SDQ......think.
For you information airline guru this is prior holly week and she will never find sheap fares even in you beloved AA. You must know this because you are an airline expert that misslead everybody. You have to think.
Think not only AA go to SDQ think think think think
I told her that even CO and US all had the same prices to SDQ from JFK checking with Expedia.com ,and not AA.com for the next three months with various dates.
I also said to go ahead and try ANY airline (including air-only charter companies for example Apple Vacations in NYC) , though if you look at all the airlines' prices they are all setting them the same way right now.
Take note: unless May 25 and June 25th are also the week before Semana Santa (here's a hint: they aren't) the rates are exactly the same for 2 and 3 months ahead from now. Since for those 2 departure dates they ALSO cost $440 or so on AA, CO and US. (P.S. "Holly " week would be Christmas if it exists, "Holy" week is Easter)
Maybe you should recommend that she flies on Copa to Panama first like that brilliant idea to the guy in Cuba who I am sure would LOVE to fly 1000 miles west to get to a place that lies 500 miles east AND pay for the privilege to take 8 hours ( vs. 1 1/2) AND connect in yet another foreign country.
Look it's simple, you hate AA, you love CO. Unfortunately your argument would be strenthened by CO actually HAVING lower prices than AA (or anyone else for that matter) and they haven't. And AA isn't less than US and US isn't less than AA.
So quit with the don't fly AA nonsense (unless you are coming from San Juan, then TRY to find a CO flight, right?) - she obviously is not married to ANY carrier - all she has a $350 budget in a $450 world and will sit on her heinie for 3 months unless she saves up 90 bucks for a ticket on CO for $440. Or US , or AA. Or whatever.
And I also told her to go to the web sites and try various dates - weekdays etc., MAYBE there's a cheaper fare, maybe there isn't, you can always try. BCMIKE said he saved 70 bucks, so that is still not $90 but maybe she can find the $20.
