Yep. Crazy expensive. There's nothing special about them so I think it's just a pure profit center for MB, and then add taxes here and that's what you get. This one is an AMG which is more expensive than the standard model.
If you go for standard, they're much less but still stupid expensive.

That same vehicle will dent and crumple like the rest of them. And it still only gets you to point A & B like the Lexus for example but with less comfort.
Buy a nice villa instead - it will still be there when the Mercedes is in the scrap yard
