finally one journalist questions the lobster story

Journalist doesn't question the validity of the "lobster story", but leaving it as "unknown" rather than speculate- since no other source(s) have been ruled out. The cholera victims all seem to share the common denominator; they consumed Dominican harvested and locally prepared "lobster" from a residential CDC wedding they attended.

It could have been the aliens from outer space, disgruntled Haitian workers, biological warfare from Venezuela's Chavez, but I place my bets, pathogenesis, on the {contaminated or improperly cooked or both} lobster.

"The source of the outbreak is unknown. It has been reported that guests dined on lobster, and shellfish can harbor the germs. But if food is cooked thoroughly, the risk of infection should be mitigated. Cholera most often spreads through tainted water or sewage but can be conveyed by contaminated food."
