I have a similar problem because of "living" in multi cities. I try to attach the mask next to something I won't leave the house without. Car keys, id, wallet, condoms.

Come to the DR and get away From Covid19 and Protesters burning the cities down
Wear a mask. It’s not difficult. If not, You are ignorant or selfish. (Unless u have health issue)

Even if the chances of getting Covid-19 is smaller in DR than United States, but there is always a chance to get it. If you get it then here is no hope of getting any competent treatment at DR hospitals, regardless of how rich you are. The reality is some expats who encourage others to travel to DR, they themselves are stuck in DR and have no means of going back and living in their countries of origin.

Maybe you are a little extreme here. I was accused of having socialist ideas yesterday when I talked about the DR improving health care system and insurance system requiring an insurance from visitors/foreigners. I will wait and see how the “freedom fighters” react to your post.

We keep several in each vehicle, one in my purse (which I don’t carry all the time), and I still get out of the car without one sometimes, and have to go back.
Maybe it would help if the expats would put on a mask. I assume John's freedom fighters allude to the very deserving, utra gringo rights community here in DR who feel they should be treated differently and laws here don't apply to them. John do I have that correct?
It's not universal. You need to qualify that.
Wear a mask fitted properly when in a confined space with other people. Be considerate.
I thought the idea was that you actually wear a mask and not use it in place of your fuzzy dice on the rear mirror, at least that's what the PN, MdeS and MdeP have said for months now?

I don't wear one in the house or to open my garage and hop in my vehicle, only when I go where there are only people or where mandated , like stores or banks. Cant miss it if it is on the mirror post.
True but I think Bob is just trying to avoid going into town in his car only to realize when he gets to the bank that he forgot his mask

Actually more for my wife as I never forget, so far, to put on a mask. I actually hate it, and I am not positive they make much of a difference. I believe washing your hands properly and keeping them away from your face is more important, but every little thing that may prevent getting this virus that may be a killer is worth the effort.
I'm going with a double plastic bag over my head and constant bathing in clorox.
