Not sure about a week but Old Town (Casco Viejo) is a nice historic area to see. A part called Panama Viejo has some interesting ruins to see. For me though it was too hot/humid.What is interesting to do in Panama? Worth it as a week long trip?
My wife had a woman renter years ago. She had a house in Panama. She said it was terribly hot and humid there. She was checking out the DR as a place to live. Not sure about a week but Old Town (Casco Viejo) is a nice historic area to see. A part called Panama Viejo has some interesting ruins to see. I have a picture of me I took with a saturated shirt after walking 2 or 3 miles. IncredibleNot sure about a week but Old Town (Casco Viejo) is a nice historic area to see. A part called Panama Viejo has some interesting ruins to see. For me though it was too hot/humid.
That is funny.Just got Copa's email about Santiago. It's accompanied by a beach scene. Should we tell them?
I will never hear a generator runing in PC either. Also, I have to mention that the entire week I was in PC, I never heard a generator running. At least someone can figure it out.
What makes this good news is that Panama City is the hub of Copa Airlines. From there, you can get lots of direct flights to North and South America. What is interesting to do in Panama? Worth it as a week long trip?
Of course. I was just wondering if Panama was a worthile spot for a week or so. I already went through Panama previously with my wife to go to Cancun, Mexico on a connecting flight. I think that was also in part at least on Copa airlines at the time. Cancun was a major disappointment compared to what my wife expected from seeing all those Telenovelas. Isla de las Mujeres would have been a better option. What makes this good news is that Panama City is the hub of Copa Airlines. No, the COPA price is relative to fares with AA, etc. You can use United Airlines miles with COPA.Copa isn't all that cheap either, I think you would probably get lower fares via the US. I only ever buy tickets using miles these days so I don't keep up with the level of revenue fares.
Copa is a real airline, same as AA and UA..............No, the COPA price is relative to fares with AA, etc. You can use United Airlines miles with COPA.
I did not think their prices were any higher than AA, etc. (Maria' post # 16). If it wasn't for the 2 stopovers, I would have no problem flying with them.Copa is a real airline, same as AA and UA..............
I take Copa PUJ to Vegas one stop in Panama. Works well. And they have Business..........I did not think their prices were any higher than AA, etc. (Maria' post # 16). If it wasn't for the 2 stopovers, I would have no problem flying with them.
