These photos were taken mid day in Sosua. All Coraapplata work sites with not an employee in sight. The trench is about 10 ft deep and one can only guess the depth of the water filled holes.

Great to start those works when they only have to look at a weather forecast to know that there's a lot of rain on the way. And you can be sure that they won't fix the road when they finish.

Same on Camino Llibre. The road is a mess, dug up and now full of mud. Nobody on site since last Wednesday (8 days ago). It's been under (discontruction) since last October. How is the company not accountable for their mess?

I guess the OP's title is a rhetorical question....
;)
What always startles me is when CORAAPPPLATA brags in the news how good of a jo they are doing and that the current administration is the best ever blablabla...
Digging up the roads everywhere (Camino Llibre, Los Charamicos, Los Castillos to name just a few places...) and then leave the mess for months until some day El Ayuntamiento comes to "fix" it....

I realize that Coraaplata is named as it is named due to the province it operates in, but I feel that it should be renamed for either POP or Sosua, as it's the same Coraaplata operating in POP and at least I have never seen any work carried out this badly in POP... Yes, they have left wholes uncovered for a bit but never anything in this extent. Also, never seen a single whole from them in POP that would not have had warning barriers etc.

So definitely agree, appears that Coraaplata is treating Sosua like c**p...

Didn't knock Coraapplata was capable of cleaning the sewage lines, this month ring the shut down Pedro Clesanti St for a little while.
I couldn't see the truck but for the noise I assume it was a sewage vacuum truck.

That or a pump truck removing water from the holes they dug.

Running my place on batteries and solar power.
