The Ministry of Public Health’s Epidemiology Department Coronavirus Bulletin #182 reports 615 cases tested positive to PCR tests over the past 24 hours. Some 4,425 first PCR tests were processed for the 16 September deadline, up from 3,921 the previous day. The 14-day average for first PCR tests is at 3,871 PCR tests.

The 24-hour positivity rate for Bulletin #182 dropped to 13.90%, a significant decline from 18.31% in the previous bulletin. The four-week positivity rate continues to decline gradually and is now at 25.95%, reflecting the growing number of PCR tests carried out and the slight reduction in the disease’s spread. Local epidemiologists, nevertheless, alert that the spread of the virus comes and goes.
