The Ministry of Public Health’s Epidemiology Department Coronavirus Bulletin #186 reports 494 cases tested positive to PCR tests over the past 24 hours. This relatively high number reflects an increase in tests. Some 3,350 first PCR tests were processed for the Sunday, 20 September deadline. The 14-day average for first PCR tests is at 3,730 PCR tests.

The 24-hour positivity rate for Bulletin #186 is at 14.75%. The four-week positivity rate continues to decline gradually and is now at 25.50%, reflecting the growing number of PCR tests carried out and the slight reduction in the disease’s spread. Local epidemiologists, nevertheless, alert that the spread of the virus comes and goes. This situation is why the Ministry of Public Health continues to recommend keeping the curfew. The curfew is due to expire on 27 September 2020.
